When I got into real estate in 2003, it was easy. There were so few Realtors and so many people buying and selling. I felt like I was a natural. Here I was, a brand-new agent and selling homes left and right. I felt like I had the golden touch… everything I touched turned to gold! After only a few years of this, life was great. I had an assistant, a stay-at-home wife and a 1-year-old. We felt on top of the world.
Then 2007 happened and the bottom fell out. The housing market I had come to rely on was in shambles.
Overnight, my income took an 80% pay cut. I had gotten so complacent with the hot market. The best analogy I have is to imagine a fisherman who rows their boat out into the water. The fish jump into his boat and he comes home thinking he is a great fisherman. That was me! I never put a line in the water. The problem is… when the fish stop jumping, you don’t catch any fish.
During this time, we accumulated over $100,000 in credit card debt. We were expecting our second child and I was freaked out! A few years later, my marriage started going downhill. It went from bad to worse.
It wasn’t easy, but we were able to save our finances by paying off all the debt. We were not as successful with the marriage. After years of individual and couples therapy, we separated and fully divorced a few years ago. I’ve learned a lot about myself during this time.
It’s been a journey. With real scars. Battle wounds. With all that under my belt, I learned how to have real conversations with clients. People don’t move because moving is fun. People move because life happens. New jobs, growing families, divorce, death of a loved one.
You want someone who has been there and can walk you through it without judgement. Anyone can be an order taker. It’s easy to be a yes man. You don’t need that for the biggest financial asset you have.
You need someone who’s willing to ask the hard questions. To give you sound advice. You’re moving somewhere you’re not familiar with. It’s important you have someone you can trust with your biggest asset. So that you are squared away when things are good but more importantly, when things get hard.

Manny has lived in the Pacific Northwest most of his life and has a passion to serve. He is a United States Marine veteran and has worked at a local non-profit in Tacoma for over a decade as a Program Manager. He has served thousands of families in our community in this role. Manny’s official title on the team is Showing Specialist and assists in a variety of client support activities. His kind personality, organizational skills, and ability to multi-task ensures that our clients are handled delicately and punctually when searching for their next home. In His spare time, Manny enjoys spending time with his wife Sylvia, and riding his classic motorcycle on the open road.

Jason is a Washingtonian native who was born in Seattle and raised in eastern Washington. He is now settled down in Puyallup, where he raised his two wonderful daughters. His adult daughters have chosen to mirror his life in many ways. His oldest is enjoying city life in Seattle, and his youngest enjoys cowgirl life in Western Montana.
One of Jason’s passions is travelling. In 2019 he accomplished a lifelong dream of driving from the West Coast to the East Coast. Though the drive itself was not difficult, travelling with his two cats, Houdini and Tiger, proved to be a challenge. Since that maiden voyage, he has been blessed to take the trip 5 more times over the past 3 years. He enjoys seeing our great country by taking a different route each time he makes the trip.
Early in Jason’s career, he worked as the managing partner of an investment fund that was ranked in the top 20 in the nation. His love of learning led him to real estate in 2001. He has helped over 800 families buy a home over the past 20 years. He has also purchased and sold more than 20 homes himself. His future in real estate changed forever after a lunch date with Zach in 2022. What was supposed to be a 1-hour lunch with a friend, turned into a 3-hour brainstorm. By the end of the lunch, they had drafted a new path for Team Zach Entwistle Real Estate. Upon walking out of lunch that day, Jason said to Zach “You need a partner to pull this off.” to which Zach responded, “Yes I do”. Jason replied “I will be throwing my resume in the ring tomorrow.” They both laughed, but just a few months later Jason officially joined the team. The rest is history.
Tessa Vileta

Tessa moved from Corvallis, OR back to her hometown Mill Creek, WA in 2022. Promptly after moving she started working with the Entwistle Real Estate Team. Tessa graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Marketing and Business Administration from Oregon State University. Go Beavers! She never imagined her path would lead her to real estate, but she is sure glad it did. She is especially glad that it brought her to this specific team! With over 7 years of working in customer service and helping manage large teams, Tessa is more than equipped to handle stressful situations with grace. She is able to pay careful attention to the hundreds of moving parts in each real estate transaction that comes across her desk. Tessa’s main mission is to ensure that every experience flows smoothly from one check point to the next, and to take away any worries her clients may face. Tessa enjoys spending time with her family, her two dogs Sonny and Zekke, & riding her horse Tango!
